Troll and lynx

I've been wanting to create more illustrations inspired by and based on Norwegian/Norse fairytales and mythology.

I’ve always liked the fantasy genre, and Norwegian mythology is filled with magical, mystical and creepy creatures. I do like to put my own spin on things, so I’m not going for a 100% “correct” presentation of these creatures lurking around in the darkest corners of our cultural heritage; but I definitely try to keep the mystical and fantastical aspect of it.

And lots of hair.
